After attending the premiere night of ‘Open Horizons: Ancient Greek Journeys and Connections’ last month, Museums Victoria have very kindly asked me come in and present a chat about ‘Olympia: The Birth of the Games’ as part of their jam-packed ‘families weekend’.

The tie-in between this stunning exhibition of artefacts flown in directly from Athens, the historical fiction account of the founding of the Games depicted in ‘Olympia’ and even the myriad other Greek-inspired activities being held that weekend is little short of ideal.

The wonderful administrative staff of the Melbourne Museum have me kicking off the fun and games on Saturday 28th of May. The chat will be followed by a reading of a few key excerpts from the novel and then a Q & A session.
