The prominent British Olympic commentator, Philip Barker, has released quite a flattering initial review of ‘Olympia: The Birth of the Games’ this week. He also intends to follow up this first ‘marking piece’ with a more detailed review of the novel in the next edition of the field-leading publication,’ Journal of Olympic History’. The journal is home to distinguished members of the International Society of Olympic Historians.
